Anna Wilcox

After childhood and educational years split between Texas and Arizona, Anna spent a couple of blissful years in Northern California’s Sierra region living in tiny, bucolic Grass Valley. Ultimately, she has staked down roots even further north – in Portland. She and RN husband Dave now wrangle three sons and a spunky Bernedoodle named Luna in hilly Hayhurst, adjacent to 100+ AC Gabriel Park. Anna’s past degrees in Art History + Library Science eventually turned her into a Realtor, especially after a full home renovation lit the real estate and design spark. Her Art History studies deepened a soft spot for historic homes, and also led to a consummate crush on all things Mid-Century Modern. Her more recent M.A. in Library Science has made Anna’s research skills – both online and among the shelves – quite formidable. Uncovering the provenance of a property, especially important aspects such as permits, zoning, and HOA history, can be a tricky challenge for the less savvy and patient among us!

When not exploring neighborhoods on both sides of the river in search of the best chile relleno, Anna might be found coaxing her sons onto a new hiking trail, nurturing her latest sourdough starter or (what a surprise!) perusing Medieval History and Sci-Fi shelves at Powell’s Books.
